Wifi connection through LED lights

Electricians, this one is for you! There is a new way to share data and it’s coming from those LED lights you’ve been installing and it’s called LiFi. This new technology, discovered in Scotland in 2011, hasn’t swept households and offices by storm yet because they’re still working on the production of the right LED lights but knowing how fast the tech world moves it shouldn’t be too long. This new tech will not have the same limits as WiFi does because it’s using light to transmit data instead of radio waves - this means transmitting up to 224 Gigabits/second. The limitations LiFi does have is making sure the beams of light connect so it can transmit the signal.
